MediaTek Dimensity 9000+


The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ is a high-end mobile system-on-a-chip (SoC) manufactured using a 4 nm process. It was announced in June 2022, as an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9000.

The Dimensity 9000+ features an octa-core CPU, with one Arm Cortex-X2 core clocked at up to 3.2 GHz, three Arm Cortex-A710 cores clocked at up to 2.85 GHz, and four Arm Cortex-A510 cores clocking up to 1.8 GHz. It also has a Mali-G710 MC10 graphics processor, a MediaTek APU 590 AI processor, and a MediaTek 5G modem.

The Dimensity 9000+ is designed to offer improved performance and power efficiency over the Dimensity 9000. It also supports the latest 5G standards, including 3GPP Release 16.

Some of the key features of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ include:

Improved CPU performance, with up to 8% faster single-core and 5% faster multi-core performance than the Dimensity 9000.

Improved GPU performance, with up to 10% faster graphics rendering than the Dimensity 9000.

Improved power efficiency, with up to 10% lower power consumption than the Dimensity 9000.

Support for the latest 5G standards, including 3GPP Release 16 5G smartphone modem. 

Support for HDR10+ Adaptive technology support for the MediaTek MiraVision 790, capable of 18-bit HDR video capture.

The Dimensity 9000+ is expected to be used in high-end smartphones in 2023.
